Who We Are
Started in the heart of Knoxville, TN , Patriot Landscaping is not just a lawn care company; it’s a childhood passion turned into a thriving business. Our founder, Michael Boyle, embarked on his green journey at merely 13 years old, mowing lawns for motocross parts and entry fees. His teen years saw him independently managing the properties with his trusty little 95 Ford f150, sprouting the seeds for what will soon become Knoxville’s favorite lawn care company.
Upon graduating from National Academy of Sports Medicine in 2012, Michael, infused with both knowledge and ambition, started in Account management and then moved into a Regional position for Milwaukee tool. He then decided to jump back to his roots and steer Patriot Landscaping into the highly competitive world of commercial landscaping. We experienced exponential growth, cultivating partnerships with high-profile clients like HighMark Properties and Days Inn. In 2024 we made a pivotal decision that allowed us to hone our focus on where our heart truly lies: residential clients and small commercial properties.
Why the drastic change? Well, we took a step back and noticed a few ugly truths : The lawn care and landscaping industry as a general collective has a smudge on it. It’s riddled with unprofessionalism, grimy and dirty dudes, rusty trucks, unmet expectations, and poor customer experiences. Sounds pretty lame, right? So we decided to fix that.
Our Mission
At Patriot Landscaping, we’re on a mission to build a new generation of lawn care. You can have a gorgeous yard that you’re not embarrassed of, with a Chick-Fil-A level customer service. We’re making lawn care sexy and cool through technology, casual/fun/innovative interactions with our clients, and frankly having some pride in our appearances. We’re in the process of building Knoxville’s most impactful lawn care company for homeowners.
